Sidonie Latere is a key figure in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s entrepreneurial landscape. As the Founder and CEO of Kobo Hub, an organization dedicated to accelerating startups in Kinshasa since May 2018, she has played a crucial role in promoting innovation and economic growth in the region.
Born in the DRC, Sidonie pursued her studies and career in Belgium, gaining invaluable international business experience across multiple industries. Her time abroad equipped her with a global perspective on entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development.
Upon her return to Kinshasa, she recognized the immense potential of entrepreneurship, but also the significant challenges aspiring entrepreneurs face. Drawing lessons from her own experiences with failed projects, she identified the critical need for a supportive ecosystem where entrepreneurs could access mentorship, resources, and guidance.
